Find out if the property has a Moratorium. Does it need judicial action before it becomes a foreclosure? Bank of America has a National Moratorium, JP Morgan and GMAC have State Moratoriums. Wells Fargo has no Moratoriums.
If the home you are under contract with has a bank that will be reviewing their process contact an attorney. If you have recently closed on a property under foreclosure contact an attorney. There is only one known case where the Bank had to pay damages not the title company.
